Why I write

writingcat

Writing is one of the few times I can take my tangled mess of ideas in my head into one coherent summary

It helps me make sense of what I'm experiencing in the world.

It helps me process and learn new things

It helps me gain perspective by writing about myself in third person - much like I would talking to a friend

I write for myself. Not for anyone else. I consider it a personal mental care hobby. Ergo, the best piece of advice I receive comes from myself - after internally processing many different other perspectives. The more perspectives I process - the better advice I give to myself, in the form of writing

And I need alot of advice. Because I'm always in challenging, uncomfortable and growth driven situations many times

Additional notes

  • It's important to get perspectives outside of your traditional bubbles. E.g. internet forums, close friends, books, youtube, etc just to name a few
  • Sometimes it's good to be in a comfort zone. And sometimes in uncomfortable situations. Balance and moderation are key
  • Build your network of people you trust to share more private struggles/challenges
